even on hibernate they forced wake up and updated product closed my working programs, just let me postpone my update to not ruin the job

Enough of Microsoft

It is one of the worst American corporations. Try to make live contact with Microsoft to realize that nobody is interested in talking to you. The intend is to sell their products and vanish. Hopefully soon we will get some competitive software and Microsoft will hit the dust.

Zero customer support

Great games, terrible customer service. I had an issue with a Game over a year ago and submitted several tickets and it was never even attempted to fix. Im having a game crashing issue and have submitted a ticket a day for c the past 2x weeks and no response. Was just told by a rep there may be a fix incoming in the future. They won't help anymore and haven't replied when I asked for a credit on my monthly recurring bill for the game.
This is a terrible company

OneDrive is a right pile

OneDrive is a right pile! It always says uploaded... but when you try to find the uploaded file at work,on OneDrive it is hardly ever there!

Really wish we had an alternative that’s not controlled and owned by Brandon’s regime!

Great.

I love Windows 10, doing settings is easy unlike Windows 11 where you have to "open a drawer" (click an arrow) before you can do settings. It's just like opening a drawer before you can grab a pair of socks, it's a little unmanageable/confusing. In both operating systems there's the great feature where you can place whatever you want in the startmenu, which is a very good thing.

Force you to use all microsoft products

I have access to my outlook email via my Samsung Ultra 20 plus phone. A friend send me a collaboration to do list and I tried to access it in the computer, and it locked me out of both of my outlook accounts. Plus it asked me even part of my last credit card purchase from microsoft, but still it does not allow me to log in in my computer. Worst company for software and functionality.

I had to abandon the awful support case…

I had to abandon the awful support case provided by support assidstant called Harold. Over the last 6 days I lost all my set-up I’d gained from their 365-Support desk & the many support calls I've been forced to make since the re-build/ reinallation of Windows 10. to get Outlook within MS office to work correctly.I found he had a cavellier aqpproach to his work he didn't listen to the history I tried to give him over the previous 6 days of dealing with fellow poorly trained technicicians, he was utterly INEPT!

In the end I lost all faith & had to ask for my case to be escalated to a 2nd level support assistant not once but 8 times!

I was promised a support call to be returned by his supervisor/ 2nd level support, to call me back within 2 hours, I waited in over 3 hours & still waiting! No call was ever received!

This is a week’s work in which I've had to make various support calls to re-set-up my 'Outlook Email Client' after my Windows 10 re-install / re-build due to the complexities of Outlook!

However within five minutes of him taking control of my laptop screen he'd managed to delete at least 6 hours work of his colleagues & of my time talking to this poorly trained 365 support team of virtual trainees, straight out of University. All that hard work now gone!

Their Phillpino staff have just enough knowledge to play the dangerous 'TRIAL & ERROR' game, whilst they themselves are trying to learn on the job how to provide support!
If you take out a support agreement be warned they are amateurs!

Worse than Abysmal Support

Abysmal Support - effectively went through the problem online chat, and then the guy said he would have to escalate it. Then received an email asking me to repeat the problem with screenshots and upload to a site. Did this and tried at least 6 times, and all it says every timeis Failed to Upload File.
WAsTED 3 HOURS OF MY TIME TODAY

Microsoft has no new ideas, and only thing they do is keep updating stupid Windows! Two times it got stuck, and MS idiots could not help. I lost files

They never did have new ideas. A lot of apps incorporated into Windows are freeware developed by freeware authors. I'm not sure which anymore but things like Notepad and Paint.

Why garbage Microsoft keep sending updates everyothers day?

You can't disable updates anymore. You can only pause them for seven days. Microsoft thinks it owns your computer if you install its OS.

Prohibit updates so they cannot mess up your machine by going to services and disabling the service for updates listed. Don't forget to disable all the repair service thingys too. Hope that MS will not against your will and knowledge STILL inject code into your system or further hack you.

I like to call Microsoft a legitimate scam company. There are so few laws to protect consumers. I have contacted numerous government agencies and even my legislators. Consumers are screwed and nobody cares.

I bought a pc just before uni, bachelors D in Graphic Design, that was 7 years ago I sold it half way thru my first year i understand that alot of people use pc/microsoft and therefore it obviously is a capable piece of tech, i just don't see it. If i had never used one I wouldn't be able to say apple is better, but i'd been using a pc for years it was all i knew and when i discovered mac I right there and then said to myself why on earth would anyone use anything else i had to relearn how to use a computer i'm able to use both but i wouldn't touch a pc if you payed me to haha that depends. Thats just me. I have a friend who has the most powerful pc i've ever used it's unbelievably fast and virus free the internet experience it offers is quite pleasant, but he spent a fortune getting to that level. Why? And while on the subject, internet explorer is the worst of the worst i realise most probably use firefox or other, but seriously IE has to go. Bug infested virally toxic most impotent piece of $#*! i've ever used.

Apple is much better but Microsoft has the majority of software. There is no other OS (operating system) to run Windows based software. That is the only reason that I use Microsoft Windows.
